Para nosotros es más versátil WooCommerce por su facilidad de curva de aprendizaje del usuario y la posibilidad de diseñar las fichas de producto a medida con los constructores actuales. Trabaja bien hasta 50.000 productos probado con nuestras instalaciones y sus variaciones, aunque oficialmente soportaria 200.000 productos, pero para estas preferimos usar Prestashop aunque sea más restrictivo en diseño.

Es a veces un poco inestable al depender de WordPress de fondo, con lo cual hay que informarse muy bien en las releases de qué cambios afecta para estar seguros, ya que al ser un ecommerce podemos perder los ultimos pedidos tras un problema. Normalmente al tener experiencia en implantación no instalamos las nuevas versiones hasta un tiempo después que esté muy probada y en un entorno de stage.

Es la solución Ecommerce más fácil de implementar en tiempo y costos. Por eso se presenta en presupuestos a pequeña y mediana empresa. Los plugins son más económicos que en Prestashop , por lo que los updates de la plataforma no son tan costosos para añadir nuevas funcionalidades.

It would be great if PDF invoices was included as standard. Most clients tend to ask for this and I always have to install additional plugins to achieve this. Facebook integration I also feel could be improved.

El mantenimiento puede llegar a ser algo pesado por la cantidad de plugins que uno pueda tener instalado en wordpress y la compatibilidad que puede hacer que en cualquier momento pueda fallar el sistema.

Lo facil que es lanzar una tienda en linea con esta plataforma y que es muy facil de integrar con las plataformas de pago que existen en cualquier pais, practicamente se integra con cualquier plataforma mediante la instalacion de un plugin, que solo es instalarlo, hacer un par de clic y ya esta todo configurado y funcionando!!

La facilidad de implementar el plugin en wordpress para personas con excasos conocimientos. Una comunidad muy importante siempre dispuesta a ayudar. Por decir algo me parece que parece mejorable es que hay algunos addons como el de pagos en bancos o el de emisión de facturas se podrían incorporar de forma nativa para no cargar wordpress con más plugins. De todas formas es un decir algo mejorable pero no es determinante
