I personally didn't like Wix. I used to have wix when I was attempting to switch from Html/Java to an easier content management system. However, having past computer programming, I didnt like how they limited you, or want you to pay for extras such as email accounts $5 each, extra space? oh dont even get me started. You want your own domain? Extra fee!

The business problems I was attempting to solve was moving from handcoded html/java websites to an easier content management solution for cost-price. However after moving to Wix, I realized it was not the domain or content management solution I was wanting. I quickly left after being told I had to pay extra fees for simple services that should've been provided with any decent domain handler.

What I love most about Wix is how easy they make it for you to design a website & integrate applications that really make your website stand out. I have small range of knowledge when it comes to coding, so I can get the job done, but when it comes to more intricate functionalities, I am in the dark. Wix has made it easy for me to just click, drag, and drop elements I want in my design and save me time from having to test code constantly. Wix also has many amazing apps & features that you can implement into your site to really make it work & stand out. Some have an extra fee, but the fees are usually very minimal, and when you compare how much you're paying for your Wix site + added apps, the cost efficiency is great compared to what you get with other services.

Wix can be a little buggy at times, but nothing that has truly come in the way of my website working properly.

For a while there I was using way too many services to get my site & business to run the way I wanted it to. Services such as Square Appointments, which allowed my clients to book specific time-slots, send invoices, and track traffic. This was all great, but was costing me more each month, plus paying for Wix. So not only was I paying for 2 different services, but I was also having to do everything in 2 different places. I finally sat down and looked at Wix and found that I could do everything I needed from Square Appointments in Wix for just an extra fee. When I ran the numbers, it was cheaper to use Wix and pay for it's apps that I needed that Square also provides. So not only did it bring down my cost, but it also became easier for me to work with since everything was in one place when it came to booking, invoicing, and having my presence on the web.

WIX is one of the best website building tools out there with one of the best pricing offers. It's easy to use. It has a free version. Easy to set up. Quite a lot of templates to choose from. Overall: one of the best price-to-value ratios out there for sure.

Sometimes it's a bit slow and a little buggy (e.g. I sometimes can't edit the text fields anymore and need to refresh the page). Also the UX design is not as great as DIVI.

Good bye to the old days of HTML coding, dreamweaver, and even old school and expensive services like Wordpress! Welcome Wix! I have been with Wix since they were flash based and now gratefully HTML 5! Super smooth and clean working design process. Professional and mobile optimized end product with the ease and feel of a drag and drop design!

I love wix so I don't mind paying for it, but I do feel they should lower the price of the basic plan that allows you to get rid of wix ADs. I feel like maybe I am paying $10-$25 more a year than I should be to really just get rid of the ADs and link to my web domain. ALSO wix shoutouts, if it was free included with my plan at no additional cost I would use it other than an outside service.

Building a solid and professional design website (and receiving great feedback on it). Six is fast and easy to edit on the spot during my live events, also great to have the ability for many users to have access. Only thing they should add is collaborative editing so multiple users can work together and edit at the same time.

The drag and drop website builder is easy to use, but it doesn't make up for being nickel and dimed for every little thing. Most clients eventually mess up the page design and need a designer to clean it up again, negating the benefit of the DIY builder.

Stay away unless you like getting your bill jacked up overnight without warning. Wix is not a trustworthy business. I will never recommend Wix to a client again. Wix drastically changed Ascend plans and raised prices without telling customers first; it's a bait and switch. Their customer service can't do anything. I don't feel it's right to treat people that way, and I will not do business with them again.

The website builder is easy to use, but their platform doesn't integrate with other tools you are already using. Wix wants to lure you into using their 'all in 1' tools so that you're stuck with them even if they change prices or reduce service by 90% (yes, Wix cut plans by 90% and didn't tell anyone first, but charged the same for it.) Stay away unless you like getting your bill jacked up overnight without warning. Wix is awful.

Best website software hands down especially if you are a new start up business and have no experience building a website. Great price too for the software to build + monthly hosting and bandwidth. Easy interface for users and lots of different options to customize your site. Lots of savvy and professional templates to choose. Can include video, chat forum, create events and collect online RSVP's, even able to create a member side with individual member login and of course a mobile app.

At this time there is nothing that I dislike about this program

Business problem solved is not having to pay separate fees for a web service...everything is rolled up into one monthly service. WIX gives it to you all under one roof for a low cost.

The usability of their platform simply can't be beat. The interface is clean, functional, and easy to use. If you need to build a website but don't know the first thing about coding, Wix is perfect. I've never found another website builder that was nearly as customizable and cost-effective. Great tool for web designers and laymen alike. If you've never created a website before, they have hundreds of beautiful templates to choose from, most of which are free. If you are an experienced designer, they make it easier than anyone else to create a beautiful website from scratch with an intuitive drag and drop editor. They also make it easy to add modern effects like parallax scrolling and animations.

It lacks certain functionality, especially when moving beyond just a simple web presence. For example, some retailers might find the Wix Store or newsletters to be lacking in areas like task scheduling or bulk item editing. The developers are consistently listening to user feedback and requests, however, and implementing improvements. On the programming side, you can't edit the site's code. You can add an iframe for custom html, but the site code is not editable, so if you're one of those designers who likes to have full control of every line of code, Wix is not the editor for you. Also, you have to pay for direct support - otherwise you're left at the mercy of the community help center. But Wix staff usually answers most problems within 24-48 hours.

I'm a freelance designer and I have built sites as simple as an actor's web presence or an app subscriber sign-up site to a full-fledged online store or life coach's appointment booking site. Wix makes it easy for me to meet whatever needs my clients might have, fulfill their requests, and deliver beautiful sites easily. On top of which, it doesn't cost an arm and a leg, so I save money and my clients save money.

Wix is easy to navigate and use. There are a lot of options for templates across a wide variety of users.

It is kind of expensive and there were several hidden fees that I was not notified about until after I had purchased a one year plan. After spending several weeks designing my website, I was unable to see the prices until I was ready to publish. So I could either keep the wix ads and a wix domain, or pay a hefty amount (more than competing sites) to have my own domain. It also costs extra to connect an existing domain. They snuck in any extra costs they could.
