We've been using Vimeo Pro for our company for a few years and have nothing to complain about. I work for a non-profit and Vimeo is a great place to host video content for our website as well as sharing videos with others to use on their sites or to download. It is super easy to grab an embed code and change up the features of how it looks when it is embeded. You can even remove the Vimeo branding and add your own logo! It makes it look super clean and never clunky! It also makes it look like our own content and not just some video we found on Vimeo which is a big plus! The other cool thing is customizable links, especially being a non-profit with multiple sub departments. This makes it easy to share a link over the phone or have one that is easy to remember when sending to others and the privacy settings are fantastic!

The only thing maybe the upload limit each week. This can be a problem if we have a lot of stuff going one week, but generally it is ok. Ultimately, you can upgrade to a higher level for less limits.

We use it to host video content for our website as well as video sharing with others.

Its very easy to upload your video and I find it very interesting that most of the people that upload content are professionals that is what my videos are aimed at

recently they put ads like youtube and it was one of the things that I liked, that I did not have them

I love how easy it is to upload and share videos that I create. I also love the ability to put my videos into albums and categories. The settings for embedding are also great.

Being able to watch a video, any time and any where, while also being able to upload a video any time and any where. Unlike many other video based platforms, Vimeo allows you to upload your videos with such ease, while being able to customize your personal page as well and add a flare to your profile.

The price of Vimeo pro could be viewed as a bit steep with how many features Vimeo's base services provide, but for the right customer, it is very worth it.

Being able to upload videos that are specific to our company. The biggest benefit is how easy it is to upload a video, and get that video out to the intended audience.

- In one word: "Elegant"!!! - I like very much the customization features for the video player. - Generated links are easy to use/view/resend - Good handling of galleries and albums

- Price should be half of the actual monthly/annual cost, i.e. 10US$ - I think there should exists a wide base of "Direct to Vimeo" plugins for Video Editing applications - Personally haven't used it for "moneytizing", but heard from and employee that he had an issue with her deposit, can't confirm it though.

- Just like "youtube", I have not suffered from downtimes. I really like that.

For our clients, Vimeo Pro allows us to white label videos, put them behind a login wall and customize everything from the color of the play button to where the video can be embedded.

There is not much to dislike. Although a free pro account would be nice this would not make for a good business model.

Not being a developer but needing a customer center with videos for our customer, I did not know how to create one on our wordpress website. I was able to create portfolios on vimeo pro and then simply link this portfolios to our website. in this way, we do not have to worry about managing the videos on our side!

Like most people reviewing this tool have said, the absence of ads is refreshing. It's easy to get going with the pro account, which is inexpensive if you consider what you're getting back.

The community side that you get from YouTube is missing on Vimeo. While on YouTube channels you can easily build a community of subscribers who follow your videos and comment etc., Vimeo doesn't really have that.

Vimeo is a great video storage site where you don't have to worry about ads and such, like what you get on YouTube. The quality is outstanding. Uploading videos is real easy. The collaboration is real, not like the junk you get on YouTube. I showed a YouTube video to my 1-2 grade Sunday School class and when it was over I couldn't believe what popped up on the screen from YouTube .. you won't have that problem here.
