It gives us access to all the platforms and can easily combine data across all platforms. As a result, I would say it helps me a lot, not only in work and save me a bunch of time.
Sometimes queries are slow, and sometimes the access got denied, which I hope the team can fix so that we can all use this convenient tool smoothly without andy holding back.
I've been pulling data from Google ads, Facebook ads, and Microsoft ads to analyze the performance of our marketing campaigns. I also do reports based on the data extracted from Supermetrics.
Incredibly easy to use and troubleshoot. Every data source I have ever needed. It makes my reporting abreeze
Errors can sometimes be hard to distinguish but this can often be rectified through great support
Dashboard back ends through to monthly reports and daily pulls
I love that it automates something that I used to do by hand which saves me time and allows for more comprehensive analysis
Sometimes it can be finicky and a little clunky for selecting which Facebook ad accounts to include
I use it to connect Facebook ads and insights, Instagram insights and Microsoft ads to data studio. Each of these used to be done by manually downloading the info from their respective websites, converting it to a google sheet and then connecting it to data studio. This meant a limited look back period and a time consuming process. Now I can look back years and it takes seconds to update
I love that Supermetrics gives you more control over your data. Connecting to different sources is easy, and it helps YOU interpret YOUR data instead of depending on others to do it for you.
I wish that it was cheaper, but I understand that the good does not come cheap. I also wish it were possible to keep more services in packages that could include more services at a discounted rate.
I am able to keep a more historical backup of my information regardless of changing policies or measuring standards over time on external platforms like Facebook. I use Supermetrics to feed Google Data Studio with other services it wouldn't normally accept.
I'm using Supermetrics for 4 years and the best option is that i can download the data directly to Microsoft Excel, than i can do with the data almost everything.
I think that there are no things that I dislike. There is only one little issue with the shortcut in Excel. After update i have to reassign the shortcut - thats all :)
I download data to Excel to analyze the traffic and revenue, gathered from marketing channels that we use. I`m using connectors like Google, Facebook and Google Analytics data.
The most helpful feature is that you can pull data from multiple sources with one click of a button!
It occasionally gets glitchy when an account needs to be re-verified.
We use supermetrics to create marketing reports and show ROI across many different ppc platforms, without having to log into each service separately.
The availability of all different connectors that are available combined with the features of reporting data.
A simpler plan structure would be great.
We have minimized reporting time and improved the way we report all digital campaign data!
I am using supermetrics for the last two years and it is an awesome tool to connect multiple data sources. It is easy to use to blend data with other sources in data studio
So far there is nothing which I dislike about Supermetrics
Blending data from multiple sources and having them in one table and report
Supermetrics supercharges Google Data Studio, making fully automated marketing dashboards possible in one tool, using API. Change your dates and all your data changes from multiple platforms -- social, analytics, ad platforms, etc. Plus, they have amazing tech support and responsible customer service.
There's not much I dislike about Supermetrics. The only time I've been less than exuberant about the tool is when I tried their HubSpot connector. But, I'm pretty sure the issue is on the HubSpot side. So, if you're looking specifically to incorporate HubSpot data into your dashboard, you might want to have a call with Supermetrics before you dive in.
Real-time marketing dashboards that include data from multiple sources. You can customize your Google Data Studio or Google Sheets reports quickly and easily and import data using Supermetrics API connectors. I love this tool.
I am using the Data Studio Dashboard plugins to funnel data from various digital marketing tools into one report. But unlike the direct plugins, each gives a lot more choice, particularly for Search Console, where the data you get out is massively enhanced. Also, the naming conventions are standardised, which is particularly useful when you have reports from Google, Facebook, LinkedIn etc., and you need to create useful comparison reports.
It can, on occasion, be incredibly slow, especially when you use a built-in filter to segment the data. Of course, this is only a problem when you work with a large data volume spanning over large periods, but especially the Search Console based data are painful to work with when it's quarterly review time. Some sort of Cashing feature might be useful here.
The main problem that SUpermetrics helps us solve is automating reports, which wouldn't be possible to pull off at the scale, meaning we could reduce hours spent on manual reporting in favour of automation, leaving us more time to utilise the data rather the just processing it.
The fact that it auto-refreshes, you can set date ranges, data you want pulled.
Sometimes it's hard to select custom metrics for reoccurring reports
Daily spend pulls for budget pacing/tracking
Can make report. Uses API connector. Multi channel reporting here. Very robust.
Can be challenging and not user friendly at times.
Analytics - customers are able to see metrics / KPIs. Customized.
Been using the Supermetrics data studio connector for 3 yrs now, and it connects seamlessly to many of the other tools we use - semrush, FB Ads manager, LinkedIn, GMB, etc.
The pricing for HubSpot/Mailchimp integration is quite expensive for SMBs. For agencies, the pricing probably works (since you can use it for a few clients as long as the total accounts are less than 10), but in most cases, clients want ownership of the data and would like it to be from their account, so that's a major limitation.
Easy to pull data from different sources onto one data studio report. Seamless integration with multiple tools.
I like how easy I can connect data studio to social platforms. It's fast and the refresh rate is high.
I would prefer to have one connection to all social platforms.
I am using Supermetrics mainly as a connector to visualised data in datastudio
The ease of usage of the integration with both google data studio and google sheets. It's really simple as just logging into you google account, and select the integration to bring the integrations to a sheet or automated dashboard.
Waiting time of queries. Sometimes the queries take too much time to pull out the data, and is not always like each time you make a query in updates data, it has some kind of delay for the integration to gather data during the day.
We supermetrics I have been able to gather data across multiple channels through different integrations, and show the most important KPIs in one place (Google Sheets and Data Studio). This we have been able to optimize the decision-making process for budget optimization, ad campaigns, and strategic product decision making.
I love Supermetrics because they let you start working on dashboards and trackers for online campaigns and organic social media channels with just intermediate spreadsheet skills and without needing the support of the data analytics experts. With Supermetrics we managed to build a fully automated set of trackers and dashboards that provide the brand marketing team with insights and easy access to raw data for any kind of ad hoc analysis.
Sometimes when queries fail - it is difficult to diagnose the root problem, so you have to resort to the try'n'error method.
We need a tool that would allow us to have very flexible reports and dashboards customized to the metrcis and breakdowns that we care about, without needing to deal with SQL and database management. Before Supermetrics we had to rely on our social media scheduling tool, native insights on Facebook, Twitter etc, and SCV/XLS exports, which meant either losing the flexibility and ease of access to raw data, or losing automation.
having many data sources to be connected and blend them.
I don't like number formatting. Sometimes it just doesnt match with the original format and it needs to be discussed with Customer support all the time.
We are checking our campaigns' spending on hourly basis to ensure there is no overspent/underspent.
I use supermetrics product for my report about Facebook Ads for all my client. I used other platform, but this is the best for ux and customer support
I think nothing, supermetrics have all i need to create a great report
Of course all about Facebook ads
The ability to consolidate all our used digital spend channels into one area has been perfect for our business
We don't have anything that isn't working in this space. As far as further development, they are constantly adding news channels which helps
We've been able to consolidate all of our marketing spend into one dashboard using Supermetrics which allows the business leaders to make fully informed decisions
There are such a variety of connectors to use with Data Studio - which makes getting data into reports easy and allows me to create reports that are consistent across ad networks. Ads + Analytics Connector is great for doing roll-up reports, I can't wait to see more paid media options added! They are very good with replying to help tickets and helping to troubleshoot any of the issues I've had.
The interface for seeing account usage and how billing is calculated isn't the most user-friendly/intuitive. It can be quite slow to load when multiple data sources are needed in a report, but I don't know that there is really a way around that, as all those data pulls take time, even without a connector.
Consistency of reporting is much easier, and I can pull together templated reports in a matter of minutes. Almost every data source I've needed can be accessed through one of the connectors, so I have a single place to manage data sources.
