For me, it's the vast customization Respona offers. Powered by AI, it pulls a bunch of article snippets during personalization, which help me find a good way to personalize pitches faster. I don't even need to read the actual articles, it's all right there in the tool - and the pitches sitll end up looking like I actually read the content.

I wish there was a way to use this AI to completely automate personalization, without any of my input. Right now, I have to copy these snippets and slightly edit them to fit in the emails naturally. But that's a nitpick - the tool would pretty much do my entire job for me if that feature ever came out :)

Having unlimited users, a shared workspace, and a common contact database is a godsend for our full-remote team. Especially the safety filters that automatically weed out any contacts that are either already being reached out to in another campaign, or have recently been contacted. This completely eliminates any overlap (which used to be a huge issue that we tried to mend with spreadsheets before) and allows us to find new prospects effectively.

The automatic google scraper could use some work. Sometimes it finds irrelevant results so I have to manually double-check them to make sure I'm only reaching out to who I want to reach out. But this is always the case, regardless of the tool you use, you always need to double-check the things to make sure all is good anyway.

The time it takes to find contact information at scale. Just run the contact finder, come back half an hour later, and they're good to reach out to.

Respona’s shared workspaces feature is great for team collaboration and it makes delegating work much smoother. The shared inbox makes managing 100+ active sender emails so much easier than having to click through them manually. Email health reports are nice too - since we send so many emails, it's really important for us to monitor blacklist status, domain reputation, etc. Moreover, the customer support is quick to respond and very helpful.

The email template variables are a bit tricky to maneuver. Sometimes they don't populate properly, or populate wrong, so you have to manually double-check each email. But you need to add some human personalization in there anyway, so it doesn't take any time from you to just glance over the rest of the pitch.

What I like best about Respona is its contact finder with various databases, which provide accurate contacts. Its workflow is also sleek and user-friendly, making communication tracking so much easier with automated follow-ups. When we were using another approach, I would often be stuck manually finding contact information, and Respona completely eliminates the need for that. I also like that you can pull backlinks directly into outreach campaigns in Respona, no exports/imports are required, it's all in one place.

Using advanced operators in search engines could sometimes be confusing, but Respona offers plug-and-play templates so that we can simply insert keywords and it'll put them together for us.

Respona is efficiently solving some, chiefly finding reliable contact information and managing opportunities for collaboration or promotion. It is a valuable tool for targeted outreach, making the process a whole lot easier and more streamlined. Its automation capability saves a lot of time and effort, allowing for better productivity and efficiency in my team. Despite some minor drawbacks, Respona's benefits certainly outweigh them.

The automated email sequences and real-time email verification have made outreach a breeze. I particularly like the shared templates - and the fact that there are campaign templates in addition to just email templates. Using these campaign templates is a big time-saver as they do pretty much everything for you: preset the search engine to what I need, and even create an email template for me. So all I truly have to do is just personalize the emails in the end, which is awesome.

I wish there was a way to automate even the personalization step. It does have an AI article summarizer, but it only finds important bits of text, it doesn't actually put them into the pitch for you. .

Respona tops my list for all-in-one outreach software. The prospecting tools are particularly powerful, especially the content and backlink search engine. The results come straight from Google (and Moz for backlinks), so they're accurate and relevant. And you can run a hundred searches at the same time, so I can't stress enough just how much time this can save you. Another part of prospecting it automates is the contact finder. It finds and verifies information in the background while I'm working on other campaigns, so I can keep a consistent workflow throughout the day.

The SEO metrics filters could be a bit more in-depth, but it's not a big deal. I can just connect our Semrush and use their filters instead.

It significantly makes finding prospects easier with its content search engine, SEO metrics and real-time email verification. The easy access to company employee makes it more precise and reduces the chance of any misplaced emails. So, for example, we're doing link building and only looking for content managers, SEOs, other link builders - things of that nature. With Respona, you can just tell the tool to look for these exact employees, and it will. And there's also the option to switch to someone else if it doesn't find our desired employee, which increases success rates overall.

Even with the free onboarding session, it took me a couple of days to truly get the hang of the platform. But everyone else on the team seemed to get the hang of it quickly, so I may just have been used to our "old ways".

Honestly, at this point, nothing stands out as something I dislike about Respona. The platform has checked all the boxes for me and it's been the solution I was looking for in launching organic outreach campaigns.

Respona's UI is very intuitive. I've found their customer support to be best of class and they have a lot of helpful resources to get users onboarded quickly. The demo call I was on was catered to my needs and the presenter gave me specific tips on how to best use the tool (and for link-building strategy!) I like that you can connect Ahrefs to Respona to import your data over to help the software work even more to your advantage. I think this product has a LOT of potential, and I will heavily consider using for any linkbuilding tasks.

A few things come to mind: - To get the most out of Respona it seems as if you need to use Hunter.io (for contact finding)-- which will be an additional service to add on. They don't support many other contact finding services (our company uses Apollo) - Our industry is a bit niche, which means that it's quite a bit harder to find relevant websites to backlink from. Plus, with backlinking, there does seem to be a pay-to-play aspect, that Respona doesn't totally accommodate (or help you plan for) - When using the contacts that Respona populated, many were returned as invalid emails.

Helping automate linkbuilding campaigns with helpful templates for writing, finding websites with appropriate domain authority to prospect, and managing sending emails out in volume.

I love the all in one aspect of the software; before I had to manually build email lists (time-consuming process) + pay a VA to add names/email addresses to the list. Now the manual process is reduced 60%, and the VA process has been automated by Respona (eliminating the VA need).

The fact that I can't easily import Ahrefs competitor URLs into Respona (at scale), so there's some manual work to do in order to make that work for me.

In the last 18-months of my previous positon, I earned ~950 links (no duplicates / syndicated links), with an average DR per month ranging in the 65-80 range, with 50-69 links per month. During this time, I had limited prospecting tools, no support staff, no PR tools, just google sheets, great content, and manual prospecting. Having been doing Digital PR for 5 years, and now in a new position, using Respona is able to truly take things to another level of scale, targeting, segmentation, and results. I have been able to do away with a lot of the different tools that I had previously that piecemealed my prospecting and outreach efforts with just this one, simple-to-use tool. For example: Scraping google for targeting queries allows for highly targeted campaigns, segmented by groupings of KWs. The personalization fields allow you to include those added touch points in your segments to pitch truly unique emails at scale The prospecting automation and different sending strategies allow you to spend less time in the weeds of finding who to contact, more time creating campaigns, and touch base with all the right prospects in one go. The integrations of Ahrefs and SemRush do wonders for helping you filter for higher quality sites to target when scraping google and for creating backlink based campaigns. The prospecting features are great for using different means of identifying the right prospects, a versatility that no other platform provides (having used nearly every one out there to date). A built in relationship contact database for a single place of having all your contact data (which they are working on making even better soon) A HARO management module that allows you to filter HARO queries for specific KWs, assign those queries to specific users, that they can then pitch directly from within Respona Crazy to think how killer Respona will be in the next 2-3 quarters with the updates and features they have planned. Best of all: The team. Between Farzad or Ivan, I have never had better customer service. The team is attentive, wants to learn from you and your needs, always looking to improve the tool, are happy to show you their strategies (which are killing it), and even meet to help you with your own.

If you are a traditional PR or digital PR looking for a "contact database" to just export and use, this isn't it. The thing is, if you want to be great at PR, I have found that isn't the answer. You have to learn how to target the right people, at the right sites, with strategic searches on google, bing, and bing news. Doing so will provide you an endless amount of opportunities of highly relevant journalists, editors, reporters, writers, bloggers, industry sites, or publications that will thank you for reaching out.
