Best thing about Replit is that it has been steadily adding more features to the IDE and support for more languages making it almost as good as an offline IDE. direct deployment is a boon when testing features. Github integration is seemless. Collaboration is very simple and the overall interface is pleasing. with the recent addtion of AI tools it is an IDE that almost every developer should use when working from a diffrent system where you need to setup everything. I have been using it for almost 5 years now and dont plan on switching soon. they even have a mobile application which is absolutely amazing.

Nothing other than a few bugs on the mobile IOS app which i think might be fixed soon.

I travel a lot and at times i dont have my laptop with me or the battery is dead. i can just open the browser on my tablet or on a diffrent laptop and continue working on it. Most of times its just cloning a repo and editing a bit of code and pushing , but on a new system the dev env is not setup so having a preconfigured environment is a boon. At times when im testing something i dont want on my system i will replit . This might be the best cloud IDE service available at this price point.

I like the most in replit is that they provide db internally and collaboration feature where we can share to others and they can edit the code in real time. Also, we can host our code from replit itself directly. We can select whichever type of project and it's easy to implement.

There is one thing that I feel frustrated everytime in replit is that when we working collaboratively, if the tab spaces are different in each members profile settings, then it would be hectic with that. Rest all it's fine.

I mainly use the replit to host my flask project. It's very easy to implement and host. We can share the url publicly and everyone can access it.

Replit is easy to use and accessible and caters to beginners and more advanced developers. It is simple and supports a plethora of programming languages. I particularly appreciate their support for javascript, a language I am passionate about. It is my go-to choice for coding and I recommend this because I can access my code from anywhere as long as I have internet.

There are not many downsides I can think of. I am a beginner so I am getting by with the free-tier, but for more intensive projects I may need a premium tier. If you have privacy concerns I can see why you would not want to store your code on a third party platform, but besides all of this I still love using replit.

Replit benefits me because as a beginner it can be challenging to set up a local development environment. All I have to do is go to repl and I can start coding. Also if I want to share my code with a friend or collegue, replit makes it easy to share my code and get help from peers. Also most importantly I am able to execute my code quickly. Replit also has a large community and learning resources that help me improve my programming skills.

I really like the user experience where I can replicate what I do with a full-blown tool like Visual Studio. Its great on the go to run a piece of code and see how it works. Its nice that I have one tool that I can use any programming language. Code samples to get started are awesome.

Not much to complain about other than slowness sometimes. But that is expected as working from a browser.

I have primarily used Replit as a way to learn Python, it is great because it lets you jump right into learning how Python works without having to first learn how to set up an environment.

Replit has some new AI features that will help you write code, while I am sure this is great once you have learned a bit more on your own, I feel it can let you cheat a little too much during the learning process. You are able to disable it/enable it easily.

The code generation works very well. As I mentioned prior, if you are trying to learn coding, I recommend not using this, as it will push you too far ahead. If you are already well versed in coding, it is a great tool to speed up the coding process.

I really like the AI auto complete feature It helps a lot. Also Its NodeJS UX like creating a new project to code editor color theme basically code editor is very easy to use.

One downside which I hate the most sometimes long execution time like yesterday only code had simple a single console.log and It took most 10s to execute it

I mainly use replit for teaching demo purposes. Its collaborative link sharing feature I use alot and its fantastic.

Coming from VScode I like that this Replit is directly available in the browser, no need to setup or run connect cmdlets everytime I reopen the IDE! No need for pip, free cloud hosting, and most importantly it runs on any device!

Some people have reported that popular projects are more likely to be noticed than new projects!

I like best about replit is that it is easy to use and allows us to code in multiple programming languages. Its biggest feature is that you do not need to worry about setting up your own development environment everything is done in the browser.

Genuienly, I do not have any complaints or dislikes about replit.
