I love having a separate phone number for my business without carrying a separate phone. I appreciate the ability to text and for clients to leave a voicemail. Love the voicemail transcription. Any problems or service interruptions are quickly resolved, with EXCELLENT customer service! Great value for business spending!
Not much! There have been a few service interruptions where the app or server fails in the midst of me communicating with a client. However, you can log-in online and continue to text during those interruptions.
One phone for my personal and business. I can keep my personal and business calls/texts separate. It's a great value and I'm not breaking the bank for business communications.
The simple interface is excellent and easy to get started quickly! I spent over three hours comparing services and decided on this platform even over Google voice.
Nothing. The customer service is great and they answer really quickly :)
Having a professional business number really sets me apart from my competitors and gives me a professional polished presentation.
Once we missed phone-call from customers, Openphone send the text message to the customers with information about our business hours, online order system, and more information.
we have split business hours in weekday. from 11:00am to 3:00pm and 6:00pm to 11:00pm. we can set up business hours on Openphone, but cannnot set up for split business hours.
From the Auto text reply, our sales boost to increase. The return on investment is excellent. Only $10 monthly is not costly and works well. we can see the history of a missed calls from customers.
I like the user interface and experience. It's got so many more features than G Voice, and looking back, G Voice feels prehistoric. The price is also a no-brainer.
I've only had them now a few weeks. Although, I faced an invoice while waiting for my number to port over which took about 3 weeks (that's normal). However, they're a growing start-up so I offered my feedback and they were very quick to refund me + showed empathy.
We don't use our business phone for too much. I will say though that as a digital nomad, it's very beneficial to have a phone number uninterrupted by my travels.
Ease of use, clarity of calls, customer support
My plan doesnt allow international calls. I'm sure it's a different plan though
Great for high volume sales call output Keeps personal number private
OpenPhone is affordable and works great! I use the app on my ios to make and receive VOIP calls and it works perfectly for me. I have spoken whit customers service and they are a 10-star support team that always responds fast and are just the most pleasant people to deal with!
The only thing I don't like is OpenPhone has no desktop download for windows. But It is on their road map so I'm waiting for it to come out. They have mobile apps and a Mac app and i always use the mobile app on my ios so it's not really a big deal to not have a Windows app.
I love the call recording included on all planes. The calls themselves are of great quality too!
OpenPhone combines texts and voicemails from a person in a single conversation. It sounds simple, but it is so ingenious. I can easily review a combination of text messages and voicemails in a single view. OpenPhone does much, much more but this is my favorite feature. It is superior as a user experience to Apple's native visual voicemail and iMessage -- those require two apps and bouncing back and forth between them.
I rarely lack a complaint to lodge, but in this case I have to say OpenPhone has no negatives for me. OpenPhone replaced Google Voice and Apple's native apps. I had used Google Voice for around 10 years, and it's really not nearly as good as the features offered by OpenPhone. I am a fan and a real customer. OpenPhone is also between a little less and much less expensive than many cloud PBX type services. It's a good price for an innovative service. Very happy.
I use it primarily to advertise vacant rental properties. I need to be able to handle 20 to 100 new enquiries per day from potential renters while an ad is running. I need to bounce between a couple dozen simultaneous conversations and not lose my place. OpenPhone is good for my business and on a personal level has reduced my stress.
Open phone offers some of the best pricing and outstanding customer service. The app has all the features that a business requires. I will continue to use open phone for a very long time!
There is truly no dislikes about open phone.
Open phone allows me to use one physical phone while allowing me to use two separate numbers. It has made my business more professional and efficient.
Easy for clients and other businesses to contact me at Less2Clean,LLC
I can't name one thing I dislike about OpenPhone
OpenPhone allows customers to contact us by calling or even texting
Ported my number over from Nextiva. Nextiva is known for being one of the best VOIP services and I've found that OpenPhone provides all the same features they do at a third of the price. Also, open phones app is much more intuitive and user friendly than Nextiva's. OpenPhone integrated with my current contacts so I can text anyone who's already in my contact list (unlike Nextiva). Overall really happy since I went from paying $35/mo to $10/mo yet have better functionality than my previous provider.
I haven't found any issues so far. Overall, I am very happy with their service.
OpenPhone allows me to have a quick and easy way to communicate with my clients all within their app. Plus, for the features they offer like auto recording and call forwarding, they are at a lower cost ($10) than just about any other company I came across.
It is a powerful tool and it helped us to centralize all our communication with our clients and internal team. We respond in seconds and can integrate with HubSpot thus eliminating manual tasks.
Add message automation without having to resort to Zapier.
Communication speed, a faster service to serve our customers.
Has all the features included! A single source of truth!
Nothing really maybe they don't have a setup for physical phone but you don't need it just a wasted expense
I can have a whole office team use a phone system with just an internet browser and headset
- Clean and intuitive user interface - Consistently good service - Reasonably priced
- Seem to get more random numbers calling
- I needed a way to keep my number while traveling abroad for months at a time - I can still make and receive calls from people back home with no long-distance charges - I can still approve two-factor authentication calls and texts even with a foreign sim card installed
OpenPhone is really working well as a second line specifically for my business. The customer service is exceptional! They are very responsive, and always check back in to make sure that your issue has been resolved. I highly recommend this service!
The only blip that I've encountered, just like with all second numbers, is that you can't get a code to validate the number. This is something that Google, etc. prevent. It is not something that is specific to OpenPhone!
Having a specific business line alerts me to a prospect call, which I'm more likely to answer that an unknown number.
I like the ease of going back and forth to view and manage different numbers. I also love their support team - very prompt and communicative whenever I need something or have questions.
Just don't love that I can't access all of my call history from the beginning of my account set up. I would love that option! (It is an option, admittedly, I would just have to upgrade to premium).
It's easy to access and manage, and easy to manage contact info.
Customer service is extremely helpful and reply fast. I had an issue with my porting process and the staff emailed me directly without an automated message. That made me appreciate the company even more!
There isn't anything that I have disliked with OpenPhone
I own a massage therapy business with my husband. This app allows us to keep our personal numbers private and not have to carry a second phone anymore. I also love the fact that either of us can message the client back or answer calls while the other is in a massage. This helps with last minute bookings and last minute cancellation. We both have access to the phone number without needing the actual phone.
EVERYTHING. Very fluid iPhone and Mac app Auto Call Recording Voicemail to Text/Email Options Automation Tools inbuilt Shortcuts for faster Texting Options to make your custom Voicemail Prompts Affordable Plans for everyone Beyond Fantastic and Lightning Speed Customer Support
I haven't found anything yet that I don't like about OpenPhone.
Business Hours on Automation. Custom Dial Menu for Clients Auto Replies for Missed Calls/Unavailable
Ability to track team's activity and connect with CRM
Nothing actually. We really like everything.
Sales and SRD's use Open Phone to talk to clients and follow up during deals
I saw one mixed review that stated the customer service was lacking...I don't know if a competitor was trying to turn away new business (it almost did for me), but I have reached out multiple times with questions and gotten super-fast answers. Not only fast but thorough, more than one team member followed up to make sure all of my questions were answered to my satisfaction. They have been so unbelievably helpful, kind and patient while I learn the system (which is pretty user-friendly to be honest). I searched for hours upon days upon weeks to find a solution that would suit my business, and I'm so happy I didn't let one mixed review turn me away; what a find! I would highly recommend OpenPhone to anyone looking for a text/phone/internal messaging and team collaboration solution.
There's no desktop app for PC YET, but I know it's in the works, and honestly, I don't have any trouble just using it in the browser or mobile app anyway. I can't wait to see how they change and grow! From what I've read, there is quite a bit of work going on in the background to upgrade and add features!
Business phone, text, messaging, and team collaboration. We are pretty new, but it has already streamlined my team. It was super simple to sync my contacts too, but if you can't sync there's a CSV upload option too, saved us a ton of time!
OpenPhone is extremely easy to use. We have a 6 person office routing calls to two companies and the combination of simplicity and features are incredible.
Just nitpicking but it would be nice to schedule text messages to clients for reminders.
Having started with DYL (terrible system and worse service), moving to Ring Central (feature-rich but complicated and poor support), TalkRoute (great value but no features) I've finally found the unicorn phone system that does everything at a great price.
