Nintex workflow platform is very intuitive and powerful tool. This empowers super users to design and deploy business process automation with limited or no IT support. Tools has large inventory of actions ready to be configured that require no custom coding. It also provides access to webservice interactions, which are highly configurable. You can standardise workflows throughout company by using reusable workflows or creating site collection level UDAs. This platform is also expandable with plugins from many third party vendors. We use a PDF conversion tool that integrates very nicely with Nintex Workflow and allow us to automate several processes.
Lack of tools or dashboard for power users to review Nintex Workflow database. Also, it lack the ability to automatically heal any workflow timeout errors due to system issues.
We have 100s of workflow configured to preform simple actions like creating dynamic URLs to fully automated processes. We have automated process like funding approval request, Change Request review and approval, weekly reminders, converting HTML pages or other documents into PDFs etc.
Very easy to use, and to manage processes. The fact that I can access processes online at anytime is a great feature.
Nothing yet! ProMapp is a one stop solution for our company processes.
We wanted a system where staff could be more engaged in processes, and provide critical feedback for change. And to also have a centralised system that can be accessed from anywhere. Benefits: Centralised processes & documents, that can be accessed online. Staff engagement in processes, through providing feedback and improvement suggestions. Different access levels, based on user roles. Ability to share processes with stakeholders, before approval and publishing. Excellent reporting system, with the ability to export to Excel (.csv) or PDF. A useful dashboard, keeping you up to date with process changes & improvements etc.
Nintex provides an easy canvas for creating workflows -- it's kind of like a Dreamweaver for workflow creation. The product is intuitive and easy to use.
Some off the advanced features are not as intuitive as I'd like to think they are. There's a hidden layer of complexity which may not always be Nintex's fault.
Business process automation. Approvals. Document management automation.
The ability to map processes inter-department and cross functional.
When other department takes their time to map a linked process
To achieve operational excellence. In the process our company have achieved ISO accreditation for Quality and Safety.
Promapp is so easy to learn and to use.
Feedback Response management is a bit tricky. It is sometimes difficult to see what items are outstanding/unresolved.
There were no up to date processes before Promapp. We now have the whole business documented. This has helped with Training and standardising processes.
How easy Promapp is to use and the support behind the software, they are open to any suggestions or improvements you may have.
The amount of chatter you get being a promaster and the fact that you can't customise the notifications you get. The fact you can't govern who has and hasn't seen documents such as policies, images, forms, videos, guides, info or training. The fact that risk and improvement modules cost more to have implemented.
Consistency across all team members. We want everyone to be doing things the same way - this will also increase efficiency. We have seen a lot more willingness for all team members to have input across other areas of the business.
Easy to use, easy to train others. Business users love it and start modelling processes themselves very quickly. We actually had to upgrade early to allow more processes. Support team is great.
Pretty limited branding options. Would like to turn off some more of the dashboard components.
Quick uptake by users, efficient way to build the repository of corporate processes.
I love the ease of use and the well-organised layout. All documents, forms and links are kept in the process, and is easy to update and change when needed to. Sharing a process with a colleague or client is a breeze.
I would say the biggest dislike is the price.
We have used it to map and plan the implementation of a new ERP system. We have also developed a set of Standard Operating Procedures we use in the business.
Cloud based tool available across the organisation at any location. Provides well thought through structured approach to process management and risk.
Some elements don't exactly fit our requirements around risk but we successfully work around those.
End to end process management and control integrated with our enterprise risk management framework. We have used Promapp as the lead application to complete a business wide review and documentation of our core business processes. In addition Promapp now manages our risk register.
Being able to reorder items by simply dragging and dropping halved my process mapping workload and enabled live updates to processes while sitting in the room with the interested parties.
That there is an additional cost for variations as I feel it was a core part of the product that was missing, not an added bonus.
Willingness to process map has increased in the organisation as people can see how easy it is to use and the potential benefits it can provide. A big one for us is training for new staff.
Simplistic user interface, common language across all departments. An approach where the subject matter experts write the content, administration is very straight forward.
Inability to provide multiple outcomes from a decision option, only Yes or no, vs maybe a 1, 2 or 3 approach.
Breaking down the silos of processes held in different teams. Allowing collaboration across different teams where a full end to end process can be detailed out.
The fact that Promapp is a go-to for knowledge management - processes, documentation, continuous improvement and risk management. And its has been easy to engage the workforce because it is easy to use.
I find dislike a strong word to use for anything in Promapp. I guess the only improvement I can think of is that you cannot click straight into the Risk register from the Risk tab in your dashboard, you have to navigate back out to the register and then open the risk. Its a small inconvenience.
We have standardised the way we do many processes, and easily trained those teams. The use of Promapp to maintain processes has meant when an issue or error occurs, we update the process and documentation, cross train the team and everyone involved signs off in acknowledgement. So accountability is a big part of our culture now. The work flow of improvement actions or continuous improvement is now clear and easily tracked. This has improved our execution rate in a big way, to the point now where issues in the business have dropped dramatically and aren't reoccurring. So we have noticed that this overall improvement has reduced labour cost as we are not spending time fixing errors, and we have reduced material costs as we are not remaking products that had reoccurring errors.
The ease of use of Promapp, the online help and training modules, the tool functionality, Promapp offers so much to both the individual user as well as the business improvement process of the business. The scope of application for the promapp tool is limited only by the scope of your business improvement programma.
Very little about the tool has caused me problem and concerns when questions were raised with Promapp, support have answered promptly with the appropriate level comprehension detail.
The creation of a business wide process management system with the ability to identify where cross department process improvement can be achieved.
The simplicity of creating a process and having it in a graphical format without having to re-engineer it is a great feature.
There isn't anything in the tool today that I can say I dislike.
Having agreed processes available without having to look for and share documents is invaluable. being able to share processes, even with customers is a great confidence builder and increases the trust we establish with prospects
- user-friendly interface - simplicity - makes process improvement easier - feedback function - interactive process maps
No option to send a group email to users who have not updated or published their processes.
Goals: documentation and improvement of core processes across the organisation Benefits: a central repository for processes, easy feedback process that facilitates process improvement, quick take-in from staff due to the ease of use and interactive nature of the software
The interface is so easy to use and so powerful.
Occasionally there's something you can't do, that seems like they should have included it, and then it becomes a challenge to find a workaround (but I always have been able to.)
I automate a lot of manual approval processes, notification processes, and reminder and escalations. I automate a lot of things for HR, Finance, IT, and Recruiting. The benefit is that SharePoint Designer is painful to use and limited, and visual studio is a beast to use... so this fills the void and has allowed me to easily create any workflow that has ever been requested.
Our company uses AssureSign to retrieve signed contracts in a quick efficient manner that allows for us to get a customers order moving forward a lot faster than waiting on Fax which almost always cuts off part of the contract document or wait on good old fashion snail mail and of course the periodic instance of actually driving out to a clients location to have them sign in person. This tool has lowered the turn around time from pitch of sale to install by integrating it into our CRM which allows the signed contract to be automatically uploaded for us and gets the sale moved onto the next step of the process. My direct role with AssureSign has been both administrative along with interoffice developer. This has allowed me to have a very detailed experience with this product from multiple levels. Their API is very clean and easy to work with, even thought it was very easy to work with there is always those times where you just need to ask a question about a feature. When those times do come up, my experience has always been extremely great with their support staff. Very prompt and professional. Definitely the type of product and company anyone would be happy to work with.
I honestly cannot come up with anything I dislike, They really know their product and if there is anything you think might be better about the product it more than likely is in the process of coming out in the next version. (which doesn't seem to take long at all)
Business problems solved with this product is limiting the time it takes from sales pitch to install. as stated above prior to AssureSign it could take days before a customer puts a signature on the contract and turns it back into our company, AssureSign allows for us to keep the customer on the phone while we walk the customer through the contract and get a signature, as soon as the signature is provided the document gets automatically uploaded to our CRM. It really is that simple. our sales to install process has dramatically decreased in time over the last couple of years due to AssureSign.
I found Nintex platform is very easy for creating and editing WF, i try all repetion task put under work flow in Nintex
i missing more video tutorials, which can be helpfull for creating new WF
creating and schavalování internal legislation , dunning failure to comply with the deadline
Working with Nintex is very awesome experience for me it’s very useful for small, medium and large organization. It is very easy to understanding end-users. Mobile features is amazing. I strongly recommended to everyone can use nintex. I commonly use Nintex for document and request approvals, moving data as well and it doesn't require any coding skills.
I think still I did not find any dislike in nintex. It’s working well and support team support was very well.
Easy to make workflows and form by using controls. approval process workflows and investment request workflows with nintex was working so nice. so I liked nintex so much
Lazy approval, no-coding required, browser based, extensibility
NIntex Forms needs improvements and should support more client side scripting
We have used nintex to automate nearly all HR, Finance, IT and Back office support processes. We also integrated to ERP (Dynamics AX)
