A great project tracking tool with a lot of transparency and visibility for the intended audience. It is a very nice tool to implement SAFe at all levels - be it project level, program level, or portfolio level.

I wish there was an option to include members from other agile release trains to work on the same feature instead of creating another such feature separately for a different train and link it.

I like the Structure view where I can query for different train features for a particular PI showing linked issues. I also like the Kanban boards with specific filters showing features in different stages like in funnel, in testing, in implementatipn, etc.

Jira allows you to track all the dev work precisely along with documentation to capture a paper trail You can create Epics tracking each project, run reports, define any status that's proper for your process. It allows you to collaborate with different parts of the organization

The road map can use some improvement. Currently, the sequence of events/projects are not very well defined

Jira core is a sophisticated tool for managing projects and focused tasks for business teams. It has a relatively low price which I consider a positive point, it has a fluid interface and a really innovative design that integrates all its features in an orderly way, the error tracking tool seems very useful because you can make audit trails and manage pending orders, this software is ideal for companies because it allows you to make an inventory management, manage employees, make a financial management and finally a marketing management really that with Jira we have boosted our performance much more.

Jira core has some well marked weaknesses it doesn't have many customizable templates which decreases its ability to adapt to any project, technical support responds very slowly despite working 24 hours, in the business management features it still lacks more metrics tools to measure performance, it still needs to add more collaboration tools that improves teamwork finally in the marketing planning it has a weak point that is that it doesn't have presentation tools this can be improved with an upgrade.

My organization uses Jira Core as a management tool for business administration since its tools such as employee management, inventory, financial and time and expense management, lately we have also addressed in the functions that Jira Core has in the development of applications such as deployment management, mobile developer, source control, software development among others the truth that we have had very promising results using this software in the development of applications and its administrative management function the same has not improved much.

Jira core is simple yet powerful tool to track and manage project issue and development.

UX is a bit slow to load and it takes time to show the content.

Allows for easy user setup and plugin support for many tools helping resolved problems with tracking and root cause analysis documentation of bugs and screenshots. Ease of use for collaboration and linking with automation. Requires little to no training to be able to customize the tool for any organization.

Dislike the bloated nature sometimes issues with plugins some plugins don't work and the plugin publisher lacks support when you need it all publishers of plugins should be forced to a standard provide by Atlassian. Integration with tools outside of the Atlassian realm can use improvement working with more products out on the market. Also formatting of comments or description area of an issue can use improvement and ease.

Solving problems with accountability organizing creating dashboards or progress made on issues. Solved issues with linking defects to a requirement link to automated test cases that create defects and link to the correct developers. Solving communication issues sometimes requirements were not updated but with making comments and linking business analysts to those requirements that required updates or questions specific to the requirement. Allow for collaboration from the business to approve a requirement before it goes into development.
