is a very practical and easy to integrate tool because you can customize it to the interests and needs that are present in the team, it is easy to navigate and understand its operation.
I have nothing negative to say about this tool, it has worked in a very useful, intuitive and easy to use way.
is a very intuitive and practical to use CMR, as it allows you to customize the tool to the needs that are present in the team, managing all the information developing all the data integration, such as a spreadsheet. hCaleCaving access all in one place.
There are a few things I really enjoy about Capsule. One of the greatest things is its ability to export lists into whatever you need. You can get them as CSVs, Worksheets, or even put them straight into MailChimp. The ability to assign tasks is another great feature of Capsule. It's clear who is supposed to be doing what when. It also allows what seems like an unlimited number of fields you can add so you can be as specific as possible. It's nice that there are fields but also tags, so there are a couple different ways to search based on what you're looking for.
I really, really wish this was more searchable. It offers up all of these options for you to be able to leave notes in different accounts. You can leave notes, history, files, create opportunities, but you can't search for anything in the notes! It can be pretty frustrating if you rely on previous comments about people to know if you should be using them or not. It just adds more clicks to the process. It's also frustrating that you can't organize the notes section better or pin things to the top. If you have a lot of notes, things get lost really fast. And because you can't search for content within notes, it means you're stuck digging through extensive notes to find what you're looking for.
We use Capsule to manage client accounts/info and to house all of our information on our freelancers. We are quickly and easily able to see their contact information, the amount of strikes they have against them, their username, their test grades, when thy passed their tests, if they require certain tax documents, if they're active or inactive within our system, which country they live in, etc. That is all thanks to the many fields they allow you to have. It's an awesome way to house and track information if you know how to use it properly.
Capsule is very easy-to-use, very straightforward with a nice user interface that gets the job done. There are two features that I really like. The first is the communication history attributed to each contact. I can attach emails, files and my own notes. The second feature is the automatic sourcing of social media links for contacts.
The single biggest downside to Capsule is it's lack of support for user-based permissions and roles. Currently, you can't define user access permissions by group or role. So if you have a sales team and say an account management team, you can not prevent your sales team members from accessing contacts owned by your account management team. In other words, any user with has access to your CRM can see every contact, including communication history, notes, files, etc. This feature has been requested by hundreds, if not thousands, of Capsule users and has largely been ignored for years.
We use capsule as a repository to store notes, emails and important files for our customers, vendors and other contacts.
Cloud stored address book, having the means of accessing phone numbers, emails, addresses from every device is certanely a pro.
Somehow limited, seems that hasn't progressed in years of use, both visually and in regards of functionality. The sales pipeline is very basic
The main benefit is having the possibility of having a unified address book for the whole workplace.
What I liked about Capsule best was that it made it easy to get going with the software; although it would be unfair to call the software complicated (in fact it's probably as easy to use as any of it's competitors) it isn't actually that easy to see how things should work. Capsule has lots of help videos and documents
What Capsule really needs, that in fairness it's competitors don't really have either, is real recommendations on how to get the best out of it's software. What do I really need to do to make using Capsule a success for my business
We needed somewhere where we could track all of our leads and automate our follow-up a little more smartly. In reality we've not used it particularly well and no real benefits have ultimately been utilised.
It's nice that it sends reminders and can be synced with my calendar.
I just started using Capsule and just like Trello, I'm having a hard time falling in love. For weddings it's not very intuitive and seems like a lot of work. Perhaps I just can't get past the main page/ dash board. It's too crowded and I wish there was a way to filter the view (by keywords) or minimize the conversations, or view more of the updates on a particular client without having to click away.
Lead management and follow up
Creating tasks is easy, and process is simple to create opportunities
Reporting. We cannot pull out necessary reporting required on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
Maintain lead follow-up. We can follow up leads on timely basis.
Capsule assists our employees to keep track of and report on client specific requirements. By setting up simple tracks and tasks you will not forget to follow up with a client re quote acceptance, billing or revisions. We use Capsule daily because it allows for ease of access to important client or job related information. The integration opportunities are amazing, we can easily track correspondence with a client and any interactions whether it be by meeting, email or phonecall. Installing the mobile app is off great assistance when you are on site and need to check up with a client face to face.
I am struggling to download the app on my PC - I only have access to the online app.
In our industry, especially over high season, we are all stretched quite thin with the sheer amount of jobs we have, capsule allows us to set up tasks and note staff allocations especially when you are on site. Having the integration with Outlook Capsule does not miss much.
We have a number of different users and all of them have different skills and needs. It is very simple to use.
We have yet to find anything material to maon about!
It allows us to have a singular view of our sales Pipeline and, mostly working remotely, complete visibility as to where we are with each opportunity. This allows us to dovetail actions and responsibilities across the Commercial team.
It's intuitive, and incredibly simple to use. There is a richer, more customisable element to it which we've dipped into as and when, and found it always meets our needs with minimum fuss. We've utilised its import facility regularly, and also built out several integrations using its API to enable us to keep track of our contacts, our comms, and also to publish activities to our slack space to harmonise our business development activities. The sales pipeline view has served as a campfire for us - the team rallying around this on our weekly sales catch up to ensure we're all on the same page and that we know where to focus our efforts.
The one challenge we came up against here was when utilising the import feature. It didn't recognise existing contacts as it used email address as a primary key (something we didn't always capture). We raised a helpdesk ticket and received a prompt response with a really helpful workaround, so no harm done here really.
Helping us keep our sales intel fresh and align our business development activities.
Very easy to set up, excellent and timely support, does everything I need it to do. If there's something that looks like it's not supported, the support team are always able to point out how to. The Outlook integration and mobile app are excellent and mean I can interact with the system anywhere.
I have yet to find any - i have yet to find anything I need it can't do.
Centralising our client data needs with a number of very specific data requirements - means we are able to make Capsule our master data store and run all the reporting we need from it. Its interaction handling is particularly good - our need is less about sales than existing customer relationship management, so being able to log interactions and report on them is key. Capsule is excellent at this as its mobile app makes interaction logging simple when on the move, and Outlook integration means contacts and interactions can be created directly from emails with a couple of buttons. The sales functionality is very useful, particularly the ability to create multiple custom sales pipelines, which we use very heavily.
We can see all of our current and past cases, where each case is up to in terms of tasks and all staff members task lists. We can add notes to advise staff of anything they may need to know about the case without them being in the office.
Haven't found anything yet. It's so much better than our previous software. I don't know how we worked without Capsule.
Communication between staff members is easy. We can see all our cases and where they are up to without having to ask management. If we have clients chasing where a case is up to, we can tell them immediately with one quick search on Capsule. I can see my upcoming tasks and therefore work more independantly.
The layout is clean and easy to navigate, intuative to learn. The range of tools and connections make the Capsule CRM seemless in operation. I love that the uptime in all the years I have used the platform has been 100% for me and my data is safe, with the additional option to backup my data to csv. The level of support allows to create work flows that I can adapt to different clients. It is easy to create a new client and then create an complete sales funnel in minutes.
The software fits into my business very well and I have nothing to say on the downside.
Aside from the standard sales funnel and sales management, another area I use capsuleCRM for the building out a network map of employees for a companines or businesses I am targeting for future business.
The pipeline and project management tool. Super easy to use and navigate, a daily tool, great integration with email providers and no training required.
Two very minor niggles: 1) When a task is completed, it's wiped from your calendar (i.e. appointments) 2) No time duration functionality on the calendar (i.e. meeting duration)
Keeps everything in one place.
Super easy to get the hang of and train others to use
Would be great to be able to edit the labels on the tasks to suit your business needs
Great to keep track of contacts with clients
I have used Capsule in work for small businesses in recent years and it is a fantastic system. It is easy to set up, intuititive to use, is well designed, and low cost. There is a help desk and the team are quick to respond to queries by email.
There are no negative comments I would add here.
I have used Capsule to support new business, client managament and basic project management, and it works very well for all these areas.
Capsule CRM is a very handy webbased tool for keeping track of my contacts and interactions in business. I like that it integrates with my email. I tried a few other CRM tools and settled on Capsule. I've already recommended it to several other friends in the industry.
I can't think of any downsides at the moment.
I need to keep track of my business contacts and interactions with them.
Excellent functionality, easy to use/implement, with a fantastic support team There is all the functionality I need within Capsule. It was incredibly quick and simple to get up and running on the system in the first place. I was quickly able to customise Capsule for my own business requirements. It is so easy to use (including for non technical people like myself) and this has been a real driver of uptake and usage within our business, meaning that we are optimising opportunities and saving time. Having previously been a user of Salesforce, I am staggered by how much easier Capsule is to use, but has all of the functionality I require. We use Capsule to manage contacts and outreach, sales pipeline and conversion, as well as managing projects with clients. I have used the support team a number of times and they are always very quick to respond, have alwasys been able to answer my question quickly and are extremely friendly and supportive. Capsule also has an incredible marketing automation tool called Transpond which we have more recently implemented and use for marketing. This works seamslessly with Capsule / allows us to have 'one version of the truth'.
Nothing, I can't recommend Capsule more highly.
Organise and manage contacts, outreach to clients, pipeline management, closing sales opportunities and managing projects once a client is signed up. Capsule also has an amazing marketing automation tool called Transpond which we use for marketing.
The simplicity is great, you don't need any training, but have lots of customization options. With the addition of AI, email templates and workflows they made it even more powerful.
Task reminders are very handy, but don't show the expired once which can cause that you miss older tasks. Besides that it would be great if you can customize the sending time of it.
Capsule CRM offers management of all our tasks, cases and communication in one place. This together with our sales pipeline.
Easy to use and flexible options for customisation that suits your needs.
If I have to name one, it would be Capsule hasn't had integration with Xero Practice Manager (XPM).
Helping our multi-industry teams to collaborate in one job/lead management platform
