Easy to use. Multitrack recording. Exporting is easy.
Steep learning curve to those non initiated to the software.
None currently.
My favorite part of Audition was how easy it was to learn it. I utilized a lot of Adobe's available tutorials and forums, and other than that, a lot of it was intuitive based on the design of the system.
I do not dislike this product as it is my audio editing tool of choice.
Audition has helped me to make our app's audio recordings better in order to help people focus on the content rather than little audio blips.
Of all the software I have used for audio editing, Audition has always been the most efficient. Audition has cut my editing time significantly.
I can't think of anything I really dislike. The only thing I would love is to be able to keep track of effects for each clip and to make it easier to revert.
The quality of my audio is similar to those of mega-corporations. This software allows small businesses the opportunity to provide competitive audio.
Audition can input and output pretty much any audio file you toss at it. It's invaluable for converting and optimizing files for any application. It's user friendly and comprehensive.
I like the inclusion of multi-track editing that was implemented after Adobe acquired the product formerly known as "Cool Edit" but if you're doing a lot of multi-track work or music recording there are probably better options like CuBase.
Converting audio files to a consistent format. Once-click noise reduction and filtering. Generally, editing and sequencing voice over assets and the like are a breeze with Audition.
Adobe Audition has been around since it was called Cool Edit Pro. And, it has been my go-to audio editing software. I love how you can hop between Premiere and Audition for audio editing.
I don't like how this is not considered industry-standard software. Adobe in general produces excellent software and this definitely meets my needs.
I use this software hand-in-hand with Adobe Premiere Pro. While you can do a limited amount of audio editing in the video editing app, this really opens up my world to a bunch of adjustments and effects.
What I like most about this software is the amount of features it brings, the interface is very good and its windows and tools adapt to the screen efficiently. The manipulation of audio tracks is great, allowing you to edit the duration time and quality of it. The effects and filters that can be added at the time of recording are varied and provide the expected quality.
When generating an audio project that is extensive enough and with multiple tracks or audio inputs, it tends to consume a lot of memory, but it is the minimum that can be expected from software that performs an excellent audio work.
I have used Adobe Audition in different audio projects such as recordings of songs or advertising singles. It has facilitated the work and its easy handling helps me to make each job much faster.
Very easy to use. Perfect tool for audio editing and recording.
It is nos compatible at all with any audio plugin, like Waves or Soundtoys, as another audio editors.
Radio ads, tv ads recording and audio mixing.
Audition makes cleaning up the audio for any video projects I'm working on a very smooth process.
Sometimes the sample of effects sound perfect but then when actually applying the effect, the result doesn't the sample and in turn actually needs more work done to it.
Audition has allowed me to easily do noise reduction and audio polishing for videos I put together for clients. I has plenty of options for detailed controls to fine tune the effects that are simple to understand without needing to be a sound engineer.
I love how dynamic the program is. It makes it super easy to navigate a multiplicity of projects
I wish that you could do custom fades, in the middle of a sequence of a single file edit. Similar to what’s available at the beginning and end of the sequence.
Much cleaner audio, faster edits, etc.
When it comes to editing and manipulating audio I don't think I have come across a audio editing software better than Auditions. The thing that I absolutely love the most about Auditions is its ease of use when it comes to using multiple audio tracks to mix down the perfect sound.
I think people who create digital music will have issues as from my experience there is no support for MIDI or virtual instruments which does limit the experience to a extent. Another thing which I absolutely love about auditions is the batch processing as there are many occasions when I need to apply the same EQ to multiple audio files, Auditions makes it easy to achieve this.
On a daily basis I voice record various talents and use Auditions to mix down all the voice overs or any audio editing request. I also like the fact that the software consolidates most-used tools in one panel making it really easy to reuse some of my favourite tools.
I just started using this 3 months ago and I have loved it ever since. The functions are very easy to use and it's fun to experiment and explore the different aspects of the software. You may have to check out some lynda classes if not, there are plenty of YouTube tutorial videos. Because this is one of the most popular software for audio editing, you have a wide network of people to help you online.
So far, there isn't anything I dislike. Sure there were few hiccups of learning the software here and there but that comes with any new programs you're trying to learn.
I am using Audition to edit our organization's podcast program.
I’m a very visual person so audio editing and mastering is not normally my strength but Adobe Audition makes audio editing a visual experience for me and that has changed my world.
I would like to see more capabilities to edit certain things that require third party plug ins.
Solving editing for short films, feature films and more
I've been using Audition since the Cool Edit Pro days and I've always liked this product. I have to clean up a lot of my video' production's audio files and I've always been able to get the sound that I desire.
This software can eat the resources if you're not careful. Not as much as resource hog as compared to After Effects or Premiere, but it resource creep can be an issue.
Audio Clarity for video productions,
I like how fast the software is. I can edit and save my files in no time at all. I specifically like being able to select sections and delete them so fast from audio files.
The interface is not as friendly and easy to understand as I would like it to be. Garageband is much easier to use at first. With a little help from Google though, I am able to find everything that I need.
Editing audio bits for videos used on social media posts.
I love the ease of editing in Audition. There's more than enough options for audio recording and editing, and it's all very user-friendly.
I can't say there's much I don't like about Audition. If anything, I wish it wasn't so finicky about changing audio input.
Audition lets me record vocals easily for videos for my channel.
I use the noise removal aspect of Audition the most frequently because it is so easy to use. You simply take an snippet of the noise as a sample and then remove that noise from the entire clip. For my videos, I edit in Adobe Premiere Pro and can export audio directly from my sequence into audition.
I dislike that the dynamic link does not work for me when getting the audio back into Premiere. That requires that I export new audio files and replace the ones in my sequence. It is a work around that works for me right now, but on larger video projects I can see this being a major hassle. Especially since I have to do audio at the very end to ensure that the client does not change things around and make me re-do it.
I am a video producer, so I use Audition to solve audio noise problems. In most microphones, there is a hiss that I do not like to hear, so I use Audition to clean up my audio. Having clean audio allows my videos to be heard without any distracting noises.
The ease of the controls and cleanliness of the setup.
Nothing much - I would say more color options for each track, perhaps with a color wheel to choose from.
Ease of controls.
I like the intuitive controls and ease of use.
Sometimes it's frustrating when you're unable to alter previous effects on a track.
We use Audition for voiceovers primarily.
Audition provides high-quality tools to manipulate sound with easy integration with Premiere.
I can't say I dislike anything about this product.
I can boost the audio quality for videos which helps create a professional product.
Adobe Audition is easy to learn and has a lot of different things you can do with it.
Sometimes it randomly quits on me and I'll have to start a new session.
We use Audition every day in my business. We use it to produce commercials which is crucial to our business.
