Some features gone from Cloud Version, but easily figured out.
We have used ACT for 5-6 years now and we had the desktop version first and then went to the cloud version and we love it! The Marketing automation is great and easy to use.
I've been using ACT! since the DOS days and have been very pleased with it from day one! I like that it easily interacts with my iPhone and is easy to track contacts and orders. In addition, the scheduling is essential tool.
each update to the program, the MG get bigger & bigger.
Problems solved are the ease of keeping everything updated in my ever so moving/evolving industry.
I have been using Act! for almost 20 years. for my needs there is not a better contact manager. I often need to look up contacts on data other than Name or phone # . ACT! allows me e to search under any contact field and partial data. This is rather useful for me. Also the ability to easily export data to MS Word & Excel and easily change column header information is very useful for me
ACT! has a large learning curve. its complicated and SQL server is a resource hog on my computer
I work with about 3,000 contacts the ability to slice and dice look up contacts and customize fields is important to me
I like the power of keeping my contacts organized and in a single location. I also like the way ACT! integrates directly with Office 365 to manage my contacts.
The only item that I have found challenging is that my old calendar printout has changed to a new format. Just a preference thing.

Sometimes seem a bit complicated to learn and utilize every aspect of it
keeps me on track especially when juggling 100's of prospects and 100's of clients. I can follow up when I am to and my note remind about what
you can put a loot of detail about each entry and that makes sorting and finding a breeze..
calendar is not the easiest to work with, ands it would be nie to use the calendar feature with mobile devices..
The ap allows quick access to entrys past hitory as well as what is going on today..
I have everything I need on a company at my finger tips. Everything is in one spot with easy access. Also like the fact it can sync to Outlook which is a big plus.
I have to call tech services too often especially when there are Microsoft updates. non compatibility issues at times.
I am not solving business problems, I am benefitting from the advantages of having all of my documents e-mails and business dealing under one company or individuals name.

Creation of a brand new database for a start up company
Very easy to use. Keeps contacts and calendar schedules easily available. Been using it for many years. Can look on my phone or ipad to see the notes ive made before i go into an account.
Can’t print out accounts by zip codes although can see them together.
